Over the past two years, Better Tomorrow has engaged in a meaningful partnership with the California-based nonprofit organization, Heavenly Presents, to undertake a transformative project: the construction of an orphanage for 15 children in Kilolo village, Uganda. Our focus has predominantly centered on the implementation of an education program integral to the orphanage’s mission.

Our efforts began with the successful construction of the orphanage, addressing not only the immediate need for shelter but also incorporating essential infrastructure elements. We dug a water well, installed water pumps, and erected two tanks, ensuring a sustainable and reliable water supply for the orphanage. Currently, we are actively working on the electrification of the facility to further enhance its functionality and living conditions.

To guarantee the project’s success, we collaborated closely with the local community, involving the village members. This collaborative approach ensures that the project is rooted in the needs and aspirations of the community it serves.

The orphanage, once complete, will offer more than just a home; it will serve as a hub for education and technological exploration.

To secure the necessary funds for this impactful project, we actively sought out donors and organized a fundraising event in the Bay Area. This event not only contributed to the financial success of the project but also served as platforms for community engagement and awareness.
